What are the two uses of the t-test?
A
- Comparing a sample mean with a population mean (one sample test)
- Comparing the means of two samples (two forms available depending on whether variances are similar)

Why are p values important?
A
Every T-value has a P-value to go with it (the probability that the results occurred by chance)

What is the T score?
A
- A ratio between the difference between two groups and the difference within groups
- T=3 means the groups are three times as different from each other as they are within each other
