 Diagnostic features- Difficulties in the acquisition and use of language due to deficits in the comprehension or production of vocabulary, sentence structure, and discourse.

 Causes- Genetically as in the family history of language disorder. Environmental such as recurrent middle ear inflammation, low SES, and poor language experience
