To Support parks and rec agencies through activities like fundraising, providing volunteers, working on projects, and supporting the agency in achieving its mission and goals
Why do parks and rec agencies seek input from the public?
Policy changes, strategic planning, and park development
What are the methods that parks and rec use to get public input?
Public meetings, focus groups, advisory groups, surveys, and referendum
What is a referendum?
An issue that is placed on the ballot to allow the voters to make the decision
What is the vision of an organization?
An ideal image of what an organization will look like in the future
What is a mission statement?
The fundamental purpose statement depicting what the agency does
