Matthew 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
Evil communication corrupts good manners
1 Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
No corrupt communication out of mouth
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Communication should be laws of God
Ecclesiasticus 9:15 Let thy talk be with the wise, and all thy communication in the law of the most High.
Ecclesiasticus 9:16 And let just men eat and drink with thee; and let thy glorying be in the fear of the Lord.
Ecclesiasticus 9:17 For the hand of the artificer the work shall be commended: and the wise ruler of the people for his speech.
Ecclesiasticus 9:18 A man of an ill tongue is dangerous in his city; and he that is rash in his talk shall be hated.
