oral transmission

17
Q

How is ebola transmitted?

A

body fluids

18
Q

How is chlamydia spread?

A

sexually transmitted infection

19
Q

What happens during the lytic pathway of a virus lifecycle?

A

Inside a cell, the virus replicates DNA and protein coats which form new viruses. This causes the host cell to burst, infecting nearby cells

20
Q

What happens during the lysogenic pathway of a virus lifecycle?

A

The genome of a virus is injected into a cell and becomes integrated into the host cell DNA. As the host cell replicates its DNA, the virus DNA is also replicated.

21
Q

How can scientists identify diseases in plants?

A

By examining symptoms, by testing for pathogens, by eliminating other causes of damage and by examining the distribution of plant diseases
