1-a toxic substance that stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies to inactivate them
2-produces by B cells of the immune system in response to antigens
How do antibiotics work?
They attack bacteria
-aren’t effective against viruses

Inhaling droplets from coughing/sneezing

No treatment beyond isolation
-vaccination available for prevention
