Robbery
Intentionally taking property from the person of another, or in the person’s presence, by force or threat of force.
Escape
Intentionally departing from legal custody.
Arson
Intentionally and wrongfully burning someone else’s real property or one’s own real property.
Larceny
Intentionally taking and removing someone else’s property with the intent of permanently depriving the owner of the property.
Burglary
Intentionally breaking and entering any building with the intent to commit a felony therein.
Kidnapping
Intentionally seizing and detaining or carrying away someone by force or fraud.
Assault
Intentionally threatening or using force on another, which causes that person to have a reasonable apprehension of imminent harmful or offensive contact.
Battery
Intentionally using force against another, which results in harmful or offensive contact.
Rape
Older definition: Intentional sexual intercourse committed by a man with a woman not his wife through force and against her will.
Modern definition: Intentionally engaging in sexual activity (esp. intercourse) with a person without consent.
