gargling warm salt water
sooth throat lozengers
avoid throat irritants
warm fluids
OTC paracetamol or ibuprofen
bacterial conjunctivitis what is it
inflammation of conductive - red swelling

lots of sticky purulent discharge [ viral is more watery ]

treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis
chloramphenicol 0.5%
dose of chloramphenicol
1 drop every 2 hours first 48 hours
then 1 drop every 4 hours for 5 days
2nd line treatment for bacterial conjunctivitis
1% fusidic eye drops
