- Teicoplanin
- Linezolid
What is the treatment for H. Influenzae?
Co-amoxiclav
Doxycycline
What is the treatment for Pseudomonas aeruginosa?
Ciprofloxacin PO
In addition to nebulisers (colostomethate sodium)
What is the treatment for M. Abscessus?
4-12 months
IV lithomycin, IV imipenem, amikacin
PO
2 yrs linozelid, clofezamine, quinolone, doxycycline, septrin – bone marrow, azithromycin
What is the treatment for B. Capacia?
Meropenem or imipenem with amikacin should be first line
Not used amikacin if its genetic resistance
Tigecycline
Meropenem
Cefotaxime is added
Azithromycin – if genetic resistance
What is the treatment for S. Aureus?
Flucloxacillin
What is the treatment for H. Influenzae?
Amoxicillin
Chloramphenicol - also used for epiglottitis
