Come
causes the dog to come directly in front of you and end in a sitting position in front of the handler ( MOST CRITICAL)
eat
this indicates to the puppy/dog that he/she MAY take or eat someting
Heel
Dog walks next to the left side of the handler on a leash and is not allows to sniff- controlled walk
Name
dog responds to its name- looks at the handler when name is spoken
Quiet
Dog will stop barking or whining
Sit (auto)
Dogs automatically sits when handler stops while the dog is on heel/side command
Stay
Causes dog to maintain their position and location until release
Better hurry

causes dog to go into the laying position
Drop it
causes dog to release whatever is in its mouth on the floor, on table, or in handlers lap
Kennel
dog will enter their kennel/crate

tells dog it must ignore indicated object and direct focus back to the handler

Dog will remove themselves from whatever they are on, maybe be their whole body or just their front paws
Place
dog will lay down in a designated area or place, usually on a bed, blanket, towel, etc

dog will stand on all fours
touch
Dog will touch an object with its nose ( you point your pointer finger at a certain object and they touch it with their noses)

dog will not cross Boundary until released
water
This indicates to the dog that it may now drink water, but it doesn’t have to
Anchor
dog will sit with back to handler in between knees for petting. used to calm the handler.
Ball
none vocal. Causes dog to retrieve ball and bring it directly back to the handler, not a spoken command
cuddle
Dog will lay next to target person on bed and not release until command by handler
kiss
dog will lick on command but not excessively
roll
dog will roll onto its back ( show their stomachs)
shake
dog offers paw
turn
dog will turn 180 degrees
wave
Tells dog to put its paw in the air like its “waving”
Alert
Dog will nudge your leg or hand ( or another person’s hand or leg)
back
dog will move backwards
