Comma Rule #1
Use commas in dialogue. This means in speaker tags!
Comma Rule #2
Use a comma to separate independent clauses when they are joined by coordinating conjunctions (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so [or FANBOYS]).

Use commas to separate items in a series. (3️⃣ or more in a series)

Use a comma to set off two or more equal (coordinate) adjectives that modify the same noun.

Use commas to set off nonessential (but descriptive!) information. [APPOSITIVES]

Use a comma after an introductory clause/phrase OR at the end of an independent clause to add additional information.

Use a comma when directly addressing someone.

Use a comma after introductory words, such as well, yes, why, hello, hey, etc.

Usually place a comma before which but never before that
