- Less people involved
Disadvantages of primary research:
- Time consuming
- Expensive
- Can produce conflicting results
- Requires more interpretation
Disadvantages of secondary research:
- May be out of date
- Not specific to company’s needs
- Less effective for targeting specific sets of people
