Controls the flow of air into and out of the brake pipe

What does the Charging valve do?

Allows main reservoir air to flow to the relay valve to charge the brake pipe Remains OPEN in all positions of the brake handle, except EMERGENCY

What does the Lock Out Magnet Valve and Ball Check Valve do?

When energised, it prevents the Automatic Air Brake from being used Power is governed by the EP brake circuit breaker (110v DC)
