MAN TOGA is engaged; additionally, the autothrust system is armed with at least one thrust lever in the TOGA detent. This mode is available for takeoff and go-around. At least one flight director must be on.
(NEO) MAN GA SOFT is engaged; additionally, the autothrust system is armed with at least one engine in GA SOFT thrust and thrust levers are above the CLB detent and at or below the MCT detent.
MAN FLX is engaged; additionally, the autothrust system is armed for takeoff with the most forward thrust lever in the FLX/MCT detent. This mode is only available for takeoff. At least one flight director must be on. The FLEX TO TEMP set in the MCDU is 42°C and is displayed in blue. The FLX mode is not available if a FLEX temperature has not been entered in the MCDU or the FLEX temperature is less than or equal to TAT.
MAN MCT is engaged; additionally, the autothrust system is armed with the most forward thrust lever in the MCT detent and the other is at or below the MCT detent, but above the CL detent.
MAN THR is engaged; additionally, the autothrust system is armed with both thrust levers above the CL detent or at least one thrust lever above the MCT detent, but not in the TOGA detent.
The most forward thrust lever is in the MCT detent. Autothrust system commands MCT thrust only (single engine only).
The most forward thrust lever is in the CL detent. Autothrust system commands CLB thrust only.
Both thrust levers are below the CL detent (both engines operating) or the operative thrust lever is below the MCT detent (single engine operating). Thrust levers limit available power below normal limit.
The most forward thrust lever is in the engagement range.
Autothrust system commands thrust at or near idle. Thrust slightly above idle is normally due to cabin pressurization requirements.

TOGA thrust regardless of thrust lever position. Indication is boxed amber. Engaged mode changes to TOGA LK when a floor conditions no longer exist.
