what are the primary colours?
red, yellow, blue
what are the secondary colours?
orange, pink, green
what are the warm colours?
red, orange, yellow
what are warm colours also known as and why?
advancing colours because they appear to be closer to the viewer than other colours
what are the cold colours?
green, blue, violet
what are cold colours also known as and why?
receding colours, because they appear to be further away
what are contrasting colours?
when theres 2 colours opposite each other on the colour wheel ( example: red and green )
what are harmonising colours?
the colours next to eachother on the colour wheel ( go together )
state 2 tertiary colours that contain blue?
blue + violet = blue violet
green + blue = blue green

red + orange = red orange
orange + yellow = yellow orange
