Strongest contrast = RED / YELLOW / BLUE
-> contrast becomes weaker as the SATURATION decreases
(secondary / tertiary)
LIGTH / DARK Contrast
Contrast between Light VALUES and Dark VALUES
COLD-WARM Contrast
warm colours are opposite to dark colours (on the colour wheel)
Warm = Red / Yellow / Orange
Cold = Blue / Green / Purple
Contrast of SATURATION
Contrast between PURE INTENSE colours and DULL / GREYED colours.
COMPLEMENTARY Contrast
Contrast between complimentary colours (opposite on the colour wheel)
RED - GREEN
YELLOW - PURPLE
BLUE - ORANGE
contrast = weaker with secondary / tertiary colours
