purity of a color. or the intensity of color.
we can increase saturation by making the color more intense or vibrant.
we can de saturate a color by making it muted.

One color with different shades, tint and tones of that color.
Mono means One. Chromatic means color.
you Can’t change the temperature of monochromatic color.
