Ivory, rubber, diamonds, gold, cocoa, coffee and vegetable oils
What was done with these cash crops?
They were taken back to Europe and manufactured into goods and then sold back to the African countries
What is Nationalism?
When countries strive to be stronger or “better” than other countries
Why did the Europeans bring Christianity to Africa?
They believed that africa was a “dark continent” that needed “light” to be brought
What is malaria?
Malaria is a disease spread by malaria carrying mosquitoes who, when they bite someone they tranfer the parasite into the persons body
