What was life like for the colonists living on the frontier?
A
On the frontier, colonists were forbidden to settle West the line. All settlers that claimed land on the west, were to immediately remove themselves.
This angered colonists because they also had to pay for the British troops because they come over to protect and enforce the frontier.
Even so, the settlers ignored them and moved west anyway.
