Cold War
a war fought by the capitalist (Americans and some European countries) fighting against communist party (Russia)
Decolonization
When countries that were colonized made movements or started wars by independence
Communism
economic system in which the government controls all aspect of the economy making all economic decisions - goal is equality
Capitalism
economic system, in which individuals make all the economic choices
Berlin Wall
a wall that separated west and east berlin and soviet union (kept the soviets in like a prison)
United Nations
a group of nations who basically had an alliance that was about going into war, and if countries attack one country the other main countries (brittan, France, US, Russia and China) would help attack as well.

one of the leaders of the independence for India. He was peaceful and wanted to avoid war.

Leader of the idea for separate homeland for muslims and hindus

conflict between communism in china trying to avoid communism

Mao Zedong launched a campaign to encourage china as a communist republic

China’s younger people were urged to revive the revolution which had the goal to make everyone equal.
