Why did the usa didn’t trust the ussr?
- communisim threatened western values
- dislike stalins dicatorship which leadd to many deaths+ purges in 1930s
- stalin had signed the nazi-societ paCt and divided poland

- communists saw capitalism as evil because the rich prospered at the expense of the poor
- 1918-1919 western states helped the whites fight against communism +churchil sent british troops
- in 1919 allies gave rusdian lands to other countries including poland
