Affect Heuristic
Using how you feel about something to steer your judgment.
Hindsight Bias
Judging past actions inaccurately because of benefit of present knowledge
Self-serving Bias
Attribute success to internal (personal) factors, and failures to external factors
Familiarity Heuristic
Substituting difficult questions with “what am I familiar with”
Halo Effect
Tendency to like/ dislike everything about someone using first impressions of that person
Bias Blindspot
Failure to recognise one’s own vulnerability to bias
Framing Effect
Way information is presented (framed) which distorts our judgement
Confirmation Bias
Tendency to accept arguments and views which confirm and conform to views you already have
