What is the pathogenesis of coeliac disease?
A
It is T cell responses to gluten in the small bowel causing villous atrophy and malabsorption

What is the presentation of coeliac disease?
A
Diarrhoea, abdo pain, bloating, nausea and vomiting, weight loss, anaaemia, dermatitis herpetiformis (a vesicular, pruritic skin eruption)

A
Anti-transglutaminase antibodies

What is the treatment of coeliac disease?
A
Gluten free diet for life
