What are the 2 types of national codes for power engineers, and what do they consist of ?
-CSA B51- Boilers, pressure vessel, and pressure piping
-CDA B52- Mechanical refrigeration code

These recommended procedures cover the treatment of water in steam and hot water heating boilers. They boiler water troubles, chemical used, function of the chemical treatment alternatives, blowdown, feeder, and procedure
What does a class A fire consist of ? and what is the best way to deal with them?

b)coating effect of certain dry chemicals which smother combustion by excluding oxygen

-These fires consist of flammable or combustible liquids, gases, greases, and similar materials
-Extinguished by:
a)Carbon Dioxide extinguishers -dilute the oxygen
b)Foam extinguisher- smother the fire with chemical foam (exclude oxygen)
c)Dry chemical extinguisher- interrupts the uninhibited chemical chain reaction as well as smother the fire

-These fires consist of live electrical equipment, require the use of electrically nonconductive extinguishing agents
