Save all material, once recognized as a bomb threat do not handle the materials anymore, Call Manager/Director, Protect the letter and envelope from being disturbed by anyone else, such as locking it in a room, Manager/Director will call switchboard operator or direct someone else to do so.

Leave the message open on the computer, Notify Security and your Manager/Director, Print, Photograph, or copy the subject line; note the date and time.

Collect as much information as possible, determine whether the threat is credible, determine appropriate response.

Security may direct a bomb search if deemed necessary. Security may review camera footage to investigate further. Security may establish a Cordon to keep people away from the area until it is deemed safe.
