3 Dahses Angostura Bitters
1 tsp bar sugar
splash of water or soda

Muddle bitters, sugar a splach of soda, form syrup at bottom of glass. Add whiskey and ice and stir.

3 Dashes Angostura bitters
1 tsp bar sugar
2 Maraschino cherries
splash or water or soda

Muddle at the bottom of a glass Angostura, sugar, one orange and one cherry and a splash of soda. Remove orange rind and add Bourbon, ice and soda or water. Garnish with slice of orange and a cherry

1 1/2 oz Pisco
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz simple syrup
several drop Angostura
one small egg white

Shake all ingredients, strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with several drop of Angostura on top of foam of egg whites

2 quarts green tea  (8 tsp green tea infused in 2 quarts boiling water)

New Orleans twist on Old Fashioned

2 Dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
2 oz rye whiskey
Splash of Herbsaint or other absinthe substitute
1/2 oz simple syrup

Put Herbsaint into glass, swirl and pour out. Add rye, syrup, bitters and stir with ice cubes, pour into chilled glass.
