Right or Left deviated coccyx

Practioner places Pt in BLR position and contacts soft tissue superior and lateral to coccyx tring to pull back to neutral

Pt is lesion side down e.g. Right deviated coccyx Pt will be right side down with practitioner aiming to pull the coccyx to the left

Coccyx: Prone, Double thumb, Superior thrust

Answer 2

Anterior coccyx

Soft tissue tension to pull coccyx superiorly

Modified thumb contact is more comfortable

Inform Pt this is a possible technique and how it is done then give them a week to think about

When Pt agrees insure there another person in the room to act as a witness e.g. family memeber or associate

Technique is a gental mobilisation and not a thrust
