Q

what are 4 occupational risks of living in Sundarbans?

A
  • lack of fresh water because the fresh water is diverted upstream for agricultural use
  • low lying land= rising sea level risk=flooding= salination= hard grow crops
  • growing pop= more fuel needed & agri land= cut down mangroves= ^flooding risk
  • poor region only have 1/5th electricity, lack of comms e.g. no flood warning
