A
- shouldn’t have given up the end as easy, sparkly populated area, did it need that much money?

economic advantages
A
- fishing nursery and salt marsh beef behind the embankment, 2 new car parks, 4 viewing points = easy access

- scheme was very expensive (28mill), costs 0.2 mill a year to maintain and there was a loss of farms

- 300 hectares of new habitats behind embankment, huge nature reserve, increased biodiversity
