A
The growth of a natural feature by enlargement. In the cases of coasts, sand splits grow by accretion, as do other landforms such as sand dunes.

A
A change in sea level at a local scale

What does PLEISTOCENE mean?
A
A geological time period stretching from 2 million years before present to 10,000 years before present. It was characterised by a series of alternating cold phases and warm phases collectively known as the ice ages.
