Allows retirement based on the following
condition:
➔ Employed in the government service
on or before June 1, 1977
RA 7699 (The Portability Law) - effective
If not entitled for the pension from
either or both GSIS or SSS
● If with less than 120 months of SSS
contributions or less than 180 months
of creditable government (GSIS) at
the time of retirement
○ The amount of benet to be
paid by GSIS or SSS shall be
proportionate to the services
rendered or periods of
contributions made to each of
