What vertebral level does the spinal cord end?
Terminates at L1 to L2
What is cauda equina?
Sack of nerve roots at the lower end of the spinal cord
How is an afferent neuron different from a efferent neuron?
Afferent is towards the spinal cord (sensory) and efferent is away (motor)
What is the function of the spinal cord and spinal nerve?
Connects brain to lower back and muscle movement, sensation and autonomic functions
What are the 4 regions of the brain?
Cerebrum, cerebellum, Diencephalon and the brain stem
What is the Diencephalon made up of?
Hypothalamus and Thalamus
What is the brain stem made up of
Mid brain, pons, medulla oblongata
What are the 4 brain lobes?
Frontal, parietal, occipital and temporal
What lobe is for vision?
Occipital
What part of the brain is used for coordination?
Cerebellum
