Observe nose, Test each side with different scents, Internal exam

Observe eyes, Visual acuity (Snellen), Peripheral vision (confrontation), Pupillary light reflex, Opthalmoscopic exam

Observe eyes, Corneal light reflex, Pupillary light reflex, 6 Cardinal fields of gaze (nystagmus), Accommodation

Inspect m. volume and strength, Corneal blink reflex, Sensory exam of the face light and pain (Sharp and dull), Jaw jerk reflex

What should be observed with CN VIII
Internal (Otoscopic) and External ear
Describe Weber test, and CN association
Tuning fork on vertex of skull, abnomal would lateralize representing conduction loss or nerve dysfunction on the opposite side. CN VIII

Syringe EAC with either warm 103-110 or a few drops of ice water. causes nystagmus COWS: Cold opp, Warm same. CN VIII
What is the swivel chair test
Immobilize head from behind, patient swivels 6 times stimulating only cervical proprioceptors, if symptoms reproduced, cervicogenic vertigo suspected
What are you looking for when you have the patient say ahhhhhh

How would CN XI be tested
Shoulder elevation and neck flexion and rotation for SCM and Traps
