Q

Name 4 categories of cloud services.

A
  1. IaaS: Infrastructure as a Service provides the fundamental building blocks for cloud IT, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and operating systems. IaaS gives you control over the underlying infrastructure, which allows you to customize your cloud environment to meet your specific needs.
  2. PaaS: Platform as a Service provides a development environment that includes everything you need to build, deploy, and manage applications.
  3. SaaS: Software as a Service delivers applications over the internet, with the cloud provider managing the infrastructure and platform.
  4. XaaS: Anything as a Service is a catch-all term for any cloud computing service that doesn’t fit neatly into one of the other categories. XaaS can include services such as disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS), backup as a service (BaaS), and identity as a service (IDaaS).
