What are developmental stretches and How long do we hold developmental stretches for?
A
The aim of developmental stretching is to lengthen the muscle. Hold 6-10 secs and then increase the stretch for a further 20 secs.

Maintenance stretch return the muscle to their pre-exercise state and prevent muscle soreness and injury
