1. Patient assessment for restorability of the tooth
2. Eradicate disease and restore core ready for preparation
3. Prepare tooth for prescribed crown
   
   • make impressions and provide inter appointment temporary coverage
4. Send impressions and prescription to the lab for crown construction
5. Assess lab work
   
   • manage errors/faults
   • if suitable, trial fit on the tooth
6. Ensure crown is clinically acceptable and patient is happy with the crown
7. Cement crown & provide post op instructions
8. Review
   
   • fit, margins contacts and occlusion and function
   • manage any issues
