Q

How could climate change affect our world?

A

Rainfall patterns change - some places get more than before, some get less.
Wind patterns change - wind patterns are linked to air pressure, which are linked to temperature. This may cause more storms and produce more powerful storms like hurricanes.
Ice in cold places melts - rising sea levels, some places will be under water, sea temperatures would change.

Q

What are some of the natural causes of climate change?

A

The amount of energy the Sun gives out can change.
The Earth’s axis can wobble.
The Earth’s path around the Sun can change.
The tilt of the Earth’s axis can change.
Volcanic eruptions.

Q

Name some things you could do to to reduce the amount of Carbon Dioxide going into the atmosphere.

A

Walk or cycle instead of using a car.
Turn off lights, Turn down your A/C - reduce how much electricity you use.
Get a solar powered phone charger.
Have solar panels installed on your house.
Reduce the waste you produce re-use and recycle things - the more we consume the more is produced. Production of goods means Carbon Dioxide is produced.
