Answer 1

1. Some places will get more rain or much less rain, than right now.
2. There will be more extreme weather, such as heatwaves, droughts, storms or flooding.

How will the earth be affected by climate change?

Answer 2

1. Ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica will show melting. Mountain glaciers will melt too.
2. Sea levels will rise because of this melting ice - because water expands as it warms
3. Rising sea levels means low-lying coastal places will flood more often - and may even drown

How will agriculture be affected by climate change?

Answer 3

1. Some places will get too hot and dry to grow crops. This will cause famine
2. Some places may be able to gown new crops that they couldn’t grow before
3. Animals and plants that can’t cope (by moving, or adapting) will die out.

How will humans be affected by climate change?

Answer 4

1. Diseases will spread, as insects and animals that carry them to new places.
2. There will be millions more refugees, as people will flee from floods, or drought, and famine.
