What happens to the air in hot deserts?
A
Air sinks, air heats up, causing evaporation and cloudless skies

Why are deserts hot and dry?
A
The hot desert is very hot/cold in summer/winter and during the night/day. It is much colder in winter/summer and during the night/day. The amounts of cloud and rainfall are small/big.

What is a desert?
A
The desert is a land of extremes; extreme heat/cold and extreme dryness; sudden flash floods and cold nights. You can get both HOT and COLD deserts.

Why is the air dry in deserts?
A
Because nearly almost all the moisture in the air has fallen as precipitation over the equator (tropical rainforests).
