Good: massif mountains, side valleys protect mistral, stakes low for wind, slopes for sun, river
Soil: granate in hermitage

Hazards: flatter than north, worse mistral, drought
Good: bush trained grenache for heat and wind, trellising for Syrah, hills
Soil: big stones, galats in chat de pape

Soil: best on stony slopes, slate in mosel

Good: dry summers (organic), Danube river, misty lake for noble, warm wind from south
