A subordinate clause used as a noun in a sentence.
What is a Relative Clause?
A subordinate clause that functions as an adjective modifying a noun in a sentence.
What is an Adverbial Clause?
A subordinate clause that functions as an adverb in a sentence.
What are the three types of Subordinate Clauses?
Adverbial, Relative (Adjectival), Noun Clauses.

Adverbial Clause, Tells when Kate wrote the reminder.
What kind of Subordinate Clause is, We stood on top of the mountain that had seemed so difficult to climb at first.
Relative Clause, Describes the Mountain as hard to climb.

Noun Clause, Who was chosen for the position is used as a direct object.
