A property of matter that can be observed without destroying it or creating any new substances.
Boil
Turn from a liquid to a gas by heating until bubbling.
Melt
Turn from a solid to a liquid.
State
Physical form of an object (solid, liquid, or gas).
Evaporate
Slowly turn from a liquid into a gas without heating.
Condense
Turn from a gas into a liquid by cooling.
Freeze
Turn from a liquid into a solid by cooling.
Ductility
Ability of a solid to be drawn out into a thin wire.
Malleability
Ability of a metal to be hammered into, and keep, a new shape without breaking.
Solubility
Maximum mass (in grams) that can fully dissolve in 100 ml of a liquid.
Density
Mass (in kilograms) per cubic metre.
Macroscopic
Ordinary-sized; viewable with the naked eye.
Microscopic
Very small; viewable only with special instruments like microscopes.
Arrangement
Specific order of something.
