CHAIN OF CUSTODY

RELEVANT EVIDENCE
Evidence directed to prove a fact in issue as determined by the rules of substantive law and pleading.
MATERIAL EVIDENCE
Evidence that is not excluded by the rules.
COMPETENT EVIDENCE
Evidence which proves the fact in dispute without tha aid of any interference or presumption.

The testimony of one possessing in regard to a particular subject or department of human activity,knowledge not usually acquired by other persons

Evidence which standing alone, unexplained or uncontradicted.
PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE
Evidence which the law regards as affording the greatest certainty of the fact in question
PRIMARY EVIDENCE
Evidence which is inferior to the primary evidence and is permitted only when the best evidence is not available.
SECONDARY EVIDENCE
SUBSTITUTIONARY EVIDENCE
When a witness affirms that a fact did or did not occur.
POSITIVE EVIDENCE
