What is the Objective of the Classification Process?
To classify each inmate individually, taking into consideration their interests, desires, behavior and CS (classification score), in keeping with the Depts policies, procedures and public safety

A numerical score for placing inmates into the correct level of custody

What are the Duties of a CCI?
CCI interviews inmates and evaluates their adjustment and progress in correctional programs. CCI is responsible for screening SOMS/ERMS files and interviews inmate in prep for UCC, ICC, BPH (board reports), and RPS, 1515, 611 (pre parole).

What is ADA and how does it effect CDCR and CHCF?
ADA stands for Americans with Disabilities Act. Plata, Coleman, Armstrong and even Valdivia had implications and findings of violations of ADA rules within CDCR. CHCF was built, in part, as a response to the outcome of these lawsuits to deliver mental health and medical care under the direction of the receiver, and within the findings of the court and laws of the constitution and ADA.
