Budd-Chiari Syndrome (Posthepatic Venous thrombosis)
Thrombosis = local coagulation or clotting of the blood in a part of the circulatory system

- Leukocytosis - an increase in the number of white cells in the blood, especially during an infection

Achilles Tendon Xanthoma
Xanthoma = an irregular yellow patch or nodule on the skin, caused by deposition of lipids

Waterhouse-Friderichsen Syndrome
Caused by Meningococcemia - defined as dissemination of meningococci (Neisseria meningitidis) into the bloodstream

Anaphylaxis = a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction

- Bilateral Hilar Adenopathy (enlargement of the lymph nodes of pulmonary hila)
- Uveitis [An inflammation of the middle layer of the eye (uvea)]
Sarcodosis (Noncaseating granuloma)
(Granuloma = a mass of granulation tissue, typically produced in response to infection, inflammation, or the presence of a foreign substance.)
(Granulation Tissue = new vascular tissue in granular form on an ulcer or the healing surface of a wound)
Bilateral Acoustic Schwannomas
Bilateral Acoustic Schwannomas = a benign, usually slow-growing tumor that develops from the balance and hearing nerves supplying the inner ear
Neurofibromatosis Type 2
Neurofibromatosis = a condition that causes tumors to form in the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.
Black Eschar on face of patient with Diabetic Ketoacidosis
Eschar = a dry, dark scab or falling away of dead skin, typically caused by a burn, or by the bite of a mite, or as a result of anthrax infection.
Ketoacidosis = a serious diabetes complication where the body produces excess blood acids (ketones).
