Mint Julep

A

1/2 oz simple syrup
2 mint sprigs
2 oz bourbon

Gently bruise one sprig of mint in bottom of highball glass with simple syrup.

Add half the bourbon and fill glass halfway with crushed ice.

Swirl with bar spoon

Add more crushed ice and remaining bourbon and stir again.

Mint sprig garnish

1 1/2 oz white rum 
3/4 oz lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
1 mint sprig & 4 mint leaves 
1 oz soda

Middle mint with simple syrup
Add lime juice and rum, full with ice, shake and strain over fresh ice

Top with soda

Mint sprig garnish

Negroni

A

1 oz dry gin
1 oz Campari
1 oz sweet vermouth
Soda (optional)

Combine all ingredients in glass with ice and stir.

Top with soda. (Optional)

Orange peel garnish.

Old Fashioned

A

2 oz. Rye or bourbon whiskey

2-3 dashes Angostura bitters

1 sugar cube or a well-filled barspoon of superfine sugar

Splash soda

Muddle the sugar and the Angostura bitters in the splash of soda (about a barspoon—no more) until the sugar is dissolved, forming a syrup in the bottom of the glass.

Add the whiskey and the ice, and stir. Garnish with a fresh twist of orange peel.

A
2 oz Pisco
1 oz lime
1 oz simple syrup 
1 small egg white
Several drops of angostura bitters

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

Garnish with several drops of Angostura bitters on top of foam

Dash Angostura bitters

Pour all ingredients over ice and stir.

Strain into cocktail glass

Splash of absinthe

Herbsaint Anise liqueur 

Chill one rocks glass while preparing drink in another. Splash herbsaint in second glass, swirl and discard.

Add rye, syrup and bitters over ice and stir.

Strain into rocks glass.

Lemon peel garnish.
