A

Available as ‘self-selection’ items for sale in registered pharmacies. They can also be sold in other retail outlets that can ‘close so as to exclude the public’.

As long as there is a RP they can be sold weather present or not (responsive)

Must not be accessible to the public by self-selection.

doctors
dentists
supplementary prescribers
nurse IP
pharmacist IP
EEA and Swiss approved health professionals (see section 3.3.5)
community practitioner nurse prescribers
optometrist IP (not for Controlled Drugs, or parenteral medicines)
Paramedic IP
physiotherapist IP
podiatrist IP
therapeutic radiographer IP (for certain medicines see section 3.3.14)
