In some ways the way that we have taught may not be the best. Divided power. Plantation like system of power within the college.

Men and women— Different stratification
Weight, women in the workforce who were 20 lbs underweight made 20,000 more than those who weighed more. Men who were underweight made 8,000 less and then at normal weight until morbid obese pay did not go down again.
