What is the basic MOA of class 1C drugs?
A
It will block fast gated sodium channels of any shape, as a result no effects in the APD or ANS.

What is a class 1C drug? What’s it used for?
A
Flecainide, limited in its use due to being pro-arrythmic and propensity to cause sudden death.

When would you use a class 1C drug?
A
When all else fails and the patient is about to die anyway, it saves the lives of some people but is not first line.
