Think obvious first. Doors, brake DRA etc.
Check local cab, front, behind, look out of window. What did you do last? Then think about other cab.

TPWS activated - check why this has happened. If fault light flashing, try jiggling AWS flag, switch in and out, reset MCB. 
Doors open.
Passcom activated
Crew door open.
EBS activated or dirty contacts in other cab
LMAG could have activated - air leak.
COuld be grided
Brake control mcb
Train control MCB
Door control MCB
Fire mcb

Engine shuts down and speedo to 0 ..causes and solution?

Local control tripped.
WSP tripped
Reset and restart.
If unable, isolate engine, need remote supply switch for lighting etc. This is because no engine = no alternator = no electricity.

Engine or transmission too hot, so hyrostatic not working
Low oil
Water pump belt missing
